Just finished it off, and after watching every episode it has been quiet the amusing show and had changed so much. Even though it was canceled they did so with enough episodes remaining to be filmed to give it a proper ending which was good and they even wrapped up all the remaining plots still lingering, including one from S1 I had forgotten about.
During the 4th to last episode Betty had a dream sequence where she didn't have braces and was herself, and it was truly eye-popping just how beautiful America Ferrera really is. Under all that ugly makeup and outfits over the years of watching this show it was quite nice to see her how she really looks and completely dolled up.
The remaining 3 episodes afterward were good too, and I liked how it ended. One less show off my list now and more time for something else!

since you're shopping for a new series to watch, why not watch Glee or Supernatural or Fringe so we have one in common :p Supernatural is almost done season 5 though so you'd have a lot of catching up to do!
