New game consol coming.

I was surfing the web the other day and ran into this:

From what i understand you could have the crappiest computer and still play bleeding edge games.

There definitly on to something there.
Looks like they only plan to bring it to USA, booooo.

This has the potential of changing the industry for ever.

To be honest, I don't see it working. At least not at this time. The speed needed to stream some of the games that will probably end up on there is higher than was people who would have the crappy computer that would want to use this service would probably have. This is really going to be a hit or miss thing once it's released. At least, where gaming is concerned. How it will perform with other features I'm sure will be included (like videos and such) I can see working well but that wont be enough to sell it if the gaming side completely flops.

It's a great idea, but can will the current internet speed that is available to the common consumer going to be able to handle it?

For some reason this reminded me of when my aunt said they would come up with some way to play games by downloading them from your tv someday, back when I was ~10 :o if the digital download stuff from PS3 and 360 counts, she was right o.o I do think she meant without a console though... ah well, we're on that track lol

I was trying to find that out so I read more into it. And it would seem that they know about this and have paired up with comunications giant AT&T.(AT&T Owns stocks and is a major supporter). There tecknologie needs a 5bt internet connection so that not so steep.

In other words. yes it works perfect apparently. (has been tested by reviers online site)
Still I agree with you the true test will be the real market place. It will work and sell or not. I will keep N eye on it.

This apparently will be the future of the next gen consol that this company fails or succeds many industry specialist are saying.

In other word Sony, Nintendo, microsoft might already be working on there own similard system

Eh I see it failing like all the others that have attempted to do something like this.

I think if it came from a major gaming company it would work. A Company people already know and trust would have more chances of making it happen.

Personally my opinion is someone already establish will pick this up and run with it.

I think PS3 will have the same thing. Although this one really looks serious about having it work withought glitchs.

Personally i try to support companys that have the ballz to do it first. But im happy they are refining the idea.(always a plus to have new stuff in the indutry)
I gess im frustrated with major companys only doing what is tested already.

but Im already tired of all my motion games for the wii.
Its back to the joystick for me and im loving it.
Tecknology, graphics, hardware dosen't win consul wars. Good fun games do.

Well thats my opinon anyways.

I hope the PlayStation Move turns out good. I don't like WII games because they are too cartoon like. Would be nice to play a shooter with a controller or a mouse and keyboard.

I agree. Still though some games do best as cartoon looking.
If i had to get myself a 3rd game platform id definitly lean the PS3's way.
I hate the fact i have to use microsoft windows cause they have such a strangle hold on the market. i make it a pointe to stay away from any other of there products LOL


I think that owning a Wii withought having children could be a bit wierd.
Still nintendo Makes far better games, for the wii then any privet software companys makes for the rest of the industry.

The Wii dosent rock the industry cause they have a motion detection system.
Its owning the market because the software they make is really good.

If you take away all the games nintendo makes the wii would have never sold more systems Microsoft and sony togueter.


All the 3rd party wii motion play mostly suck ballz. Microsoft and sony better realise that having motion detection for there consul means jack shit if they dont back it up with good programs for it. If they are dependent on 3rd party companys to make them, they are folling thmelsf.

Anyways. thats just how i see it what you guys think?
