Thought I'd give the game another try!

Just got it DL'd and updated, and here is a screenshot of the character I made! There are so many character choices can take a long time to pick what you wanna look like! This game has the best Character Creator in any MMO out there that I've played!

Played on Oracle server. Wing Elf, lvl 5 Elf Archer now.

how do you get new skills? Asking in game is pointless, cant talk in world chat, and local they are all chittering in German.

I don't recall...it was last fall when I played and I didn't for very long cause of the delayed combat which is still annoying....dern-it! Interesting game, though that is pushing me away again already!

Yeah but its just for kicks til the game were waiting for comes out.

Well I'm just going through lots of games atm...trying to find something to stick with longer than a few days or in some cases a few hrs...

Made it to lvl 6 game kicks ass better then EQ2 ill play this till WAR im sure wife is lvl 5 as well

Yeah Im enjoying the game too! And from wandering around talking to the NPCs apparently there is supposed to be housing? O.O

Oh and it seems you can buy stuff off the cash shop with in game money. You just go to the auctioneer and they convert your gold to cubi-gold or something... pretty neat. No need to give the red-chinese your credit card info! lol

Ohh btw the new skills need to be bought in trhe next town over when you reach the apropreate lvl

Anyway, Im cancelling EQ2, as much as I love the crafting in this game Im liking this a hell of a lot better. Now to grind away til OB of warhammer! woo!

Im not sure where this combat delay is... the only time I see one is when I switch from melee to casting. That is rather annoying though.

Everytime I click a monster to attack...there is a pause for 1-3sec before my char attacks...Usually I have to press the button multiple times to get my char to respond! The game runs on max with no lag or slowdown, but this delay is so annoying!

Oh... thats not a combat delay. Thats just shoddy targeting mechanics. You click once to target, and another to attack. Combat pause is where you swing at the target, pause, target swings at you, pause... and repeat til dead. Its the game rolling dice.

well I kinda figured on that....but just feels so slow to me! I know FFXI had this delay with attacks...but it was clearly listed as such on the types of weapons and jobs you chose use or play as! That was acceptable...but FFXI was a much slower game anyway which was good! This game seems like it should be faster...so this delay feels really off to me!
