| Holy Fracken Shizzlenigits, this is just too epic for words to describe! I'm really looking forward to playing through for the storyline more than ever; after watching this... | |

| That looks like an alright movie, when's it coming out? Oh, it's a strategy game? Well then... at least I know the parts where I don't play will be good! | |

| Holy Shit, no wonder I get my ass kicked so bad when I attempt to play online RTS! I just don't see any enjoyment playing a game at that speed...it doesn't look very fun. I'm more like oh I'll stop and watch these guys destroy this building then I'll go make more troops...hehe I'm slow... | |

| Uh... I lost a good chunk of my life to SC now this one is pulling me back in. I managed to hang onto the #5 spot in ladder rankings for a week.... then... I fell asleep and it was gone..... | |

Will you guys be training your APM? lol. Check out the madness of this video.
South Koreans Playing Starcraft As I said on TTH, even if this game bombs in the US, the Koreans will more than make up for the loss of sales. xD They are strangely obsessed with this game. Im not sure if its RTS in general or if its Starcraft in particular though. As for the game itself, if SC2 was an RPG like Dragonage, I would be all over it, like white one rice. lol Its more fun to watch the game being played that it is to play it - for me at least.

| I know its a sport over there, you can make a living off playing that game professionally. Which is really bizarre to me. | |

| Well Zondrea and I have the collector's editions. I for one have always been a Starcraft fan. I always wished that Blizzard would have made a Starcraft MMO then that would have been so awesome. That first video in this thread seems to be a combination of videos from the actual game as I have already seen some of them. | |

Who's to say their "Next-gen MMO" isn't going to be a Starcraft MMO? That's my prediction anyways... A Starcraft MMO has the potential to be tuly epic. Blizzard can take everything that WoW does good, then add everything it lacks (Just don't call it World of Starcraft): Three factions (terran, zerg, proto)... omg it would be awesome to play a huge bug! A massive multi-world universe with faction-controllable worlds that must be attacked and defended. PvE quests that progress your toon's personal storyline, as well as contribute to your faction's dominance in the universe... thus creating quests that have a reason to be repetetive, and gives players a sense of accomplishment in their world (remember vanilla WoW where entire servers had to band together to unlock the AQ raids??) There's lots more but it's almost midnight and me brain has shut down... dammit now I'm all worked up about a SC MMO! Maybe I'll bite the bullet and get SC2 just for single player... need something to do while I wait for FF14 anyways :)

When I went with some friends to Soul, I looked at the hotel TV one morning when we were getting ready to go looking around. There were THREE CHANNELS with nothing but Starcraft games and commentary. As in, the announcers were talking over the games being played, pointing out the strategies and tactics being used. Madness. All your base...no, sorry, I can't do it, not anymore...

| You should see some of the MMO events they have for Koreans...OMG. I remember when Lineage 2 came out and the players reached level 40. In Korea they had PVP battles that people signed up for and they were aired on Korean TV, plus the winners walked away with some great prizes as well as special in game gear.
I always wanted to have an event like this in the states where an MMO makes it worthwhile to play it.
