Don't feel too badly. I'm getting to the point where I don't want to get into beta or play too much in one. It's bad for the motivation to restart over and over like that.

I doubt I would have joined even if I was 18. It's more of the fact that for the next 10 months the line "You must be 18 or older..." will annoy me to no end. >_>

Frack I'm 32 and got carded for cough syrup a few weeks ago! Stupid kids and wanting to OD or sniff OC-meds....sheesh!

Pfft...I was born in the year of the ox and in my 30's..I'll let you figure out that one. I had this punk give me the senior discount at the coffee shop the other day because I have one small patch of "silver" hair. ( like the width of a pencil) You just can't win either way. Your either being carded when your to old to worry about it or having people trying to put you in a home before your time.

So how has everyone's Christmas been? Mine has been pretty good with me waking up at 2 in the afternoon, getting a Garmin Nuvi gps, finally ordering a Swap Magic for my PS2 (Yaaaarrr!!!).

Don't celebrate, but its very cold and for once in like 10yrs it seems there is snow on the ground...not much, but its there!

Same here. We expected over a foot of snow but all we got was about 4 inches of slush.
As for the holidays, kids are happy and that is all that matters to me.

First white christmas here in ~10 years or so I think. We're lucky to get 2-3 days of snow per season...why yes I do live in the wrong location for me. lol

Christmas itself was uneventful, exactly how I wanted it.

It actually snowed on the 24th here in Dallas and stayed a bit on the 25th...guess we did have a White Christmas this year. Quite rare.

I've met a ton of FFXI players from Texas now that I think about it. Well, any MMO but FFXI had an unusually high percentage.

My cat wasn't too pleased with this snow stuff. She walked out, took about 3 steps and then ran back in. Cold and wet is no place for happy kitty times.
