Bought a new video card...

Instead of C&P the thread I wrote over on MMORPG; here and trying to get it to meld with colors, links, pics etc on these forums Here is the link to that thread you can read all about it and why I decided to get it!

Sure would be nice, but I think it was all an isolated problem with the 8800 series!

Yeah, I'm sure it'll be fine. I wish I could update my system, but that will have to wait until after I get a new car xD.

Well best of luck getting a new car, and hopefully the chance at a new PC also. This video card was quite unexpected and not entirely necessary , but I wanna use this new Monitor to its fullest extent. Plus the 8800 was such a pain so I'm eager to switch it out and check out LOTRO for one, that will be insane...heh

Nope, must be the drivers, still getting the same issues as before but was able to get 1600*1200 resolution with this one. Not as good as I had hoped but I'm tired of trying to figure it out and would rather enjoy what I have. Now to test this new card out on some stuff that are really high end!

Tested out DDO everything on max in DX10, and that was truly impressive! Not a hint of slowdown or lag with over 50 NPC and PCs on screen while running around through town!
