Thank you for sharing. I just checked for the books - I'm a bit confused, which book to begin with? A Game of Thrones: Book One of A Song of Ice and Fire?

Yes, that's the first one.

Aye, Game of Thrones, Clash of Kings, Storm of Swords, Feast for Crows would be the order for them.

Its the Song of Ice and Fire series, then each book has a title as Borgoff posted. I've been meaning to start reading them, but Martin appears to have a massive writers block on his 5th book, which was the 4th book, but tis now split in half. Its been what 4-5 years now since the 4th was released, and in that time he's written and released another 10-15 books in other series' he writes it seems...rofl
It looks and sounds like an awesome story, however he's not getting any younger and after losing Jordan on the WoT series, do I dare get into another series only to have the author die again before its finished...le sigh
{Even though Bradon Sanderson is now finishing the Wheel of Time series, but still...} Also Sanderson just released his first novel of an epic fantasy series he's been working on for the last decade, and its getting extraordinary reviews.

its not massive writers block per se, Dance with Dragons was originally part of Feast for crows, but it got to be so long he had to split it in two, and I'm pretty sure he's said tis the longest of them so far now.
Yes its been like 4 years since the last one but i'm fairly certain he's been making progress...

I first saw a teaser for this earlier this summer while watching something else on HBO with my mom who's also a huge GRR Martin fan. Giddy with excitement would be an understatement.
I love that it's HBO doing the show. I don't think any other company would be able to do it justice.
