One thing that has stood out the most and was unexpected:

The job level cap has been increased to 80. To increase character job levels to 76 and beyond, players must complete the new limit break quest "New Worlds Await" offered by the Nomad Moogle stationed at the Ru'Lude Gardens.

I could've sworn I read somewhere that SE said there wasn't gong to be new Limit Breaks, ah well...should be fun and tons of players doing it so should be easy to complete!



Oh and another good one, so does this mean every battlefield no longer has a level restriction, or does this only apply to the Promathia ones!?

The level 75 restriction has been lifted on battlefields.

Now that I think about it, I wouldn't be surprised if the new Limit Break quest ends up just being a series of cut-scenes introducing the new areas, what they are, and how to gain access to them...

RDM is getting Protect V, Baramnesia, Regen II, Stone IV, Water IV....not bad, but yeah it is odd that there is nothing in the way of abilities or traits. Maybe once the cap to 90 is released, RDM will get some more lovin!

SE explained how to access the new areas and what they entail, so I doubt that :p I'm guessing it's some kind of fetch quest.

Also, the reason RDM didn't get a new job ability is because they recently got one. And you stay way from Sekkanoki! >:O That was my last exclusive job ability! Now a DRG80/SAM40 is a better SAM than a real SAM! Onigiri Cry Deeply

Hrm...after seeing the stat updates...me thinks these will then be allowed to be upgraded via the Trial of the Magians. Just hope to get these weapons they won't be overly difficult to obtain.

Oh, wow...this one I was not expecting!

*The EXP bonuses afforded by Dedication and Corsair's Roll will not apply within Abyssea.


Oh and after reading the details on Abyssea, it really sounds more and more like a massive Sea or Sky zone that any number of players may enter at any given time, thus monsters may be limited, especially seeing as it says alliances can be formed in there as well!

Like I've been saying, I doubt Abyssea will be a main exp area. Seeing as the time limit in it is only 30 minutes, that confirms it for me :p

As for dedication and corsair's roll, there's already going to be an exp bonus in Abyssea once you get the visitor status.

The time can be expanded up to 120min, through progress I'm assuming, or prolly killing certain enemies.

I'm thinking more and more, now; that we should just go for getting Promathia unlocked for those of us that need it and unlock those new leveling areas...

What DL, I can't even connect to POL? Nvrmnd I got connected that time...

Well, to start I'm gong to immediately run up and get the new Genkai quest, then down to Port Jeuno for the CS, and go from there. And while we await other members to log in to do Promathia, I may go check out Walk of Echoes first, cause it doesn't sound like Abyssea is going to be as 6-man friendly as I was being lead to believe!

Besides Walk of Echoes drops the new crafting materials which will more than likely go for quite the premium, and will be a good way to earn a mass of gil quickly to afford what players start crafting, which looks like quite a few new pieces of gear!

Oh lovely...when ya gonna be home?

And damnit I gotta sit and keep clicking retry...I keep getting the update screen, then it keep going back to network connection issue "retry?"

3rd time now, it DLs all the files, does a file check, then locks up when it starts to update and kicks me back to network error, and have to redo it all each time!
