| Interesting new Q&A over on TTH with some juicy new info I am happy to read about. Check it out here. Choice quotes from the article: - Quote :
- There will be PvE servers.
Thats enough to get me to definitely try it for a month! - Quote :
- There are things in TERA called party mobs, where it’s more like Final Fantasy XI, it’s not where you couldn’t engage them alone because of the action system in TERA really revolves around player skill, but some of these party mobs will be more easily dealt with by a party type environment.
Well now I'm really intrigued, cause I've never once seen a new-gen dev compare their game content to the likes of FFXI!

| Yeah, FFXIV will be fun for sure :). I applied for alpha testing. But sadly haven't been lucky enough to get an e-mail yet. There's still time though xD. The videos I've seen look way nice. | |

| Yeah, all kinds of fun new games coming out the end of this year, and into 2011.
*Counts on fingers*
Final Fantasy XIV Blade and Soul TERA Star Wars: The Old Republic
And probably others I haven't heard of, or will pop their heads up soon xD. Q4 2010 into 2011 are going to be busy times for online gamers xD.

| I'm a Beta Test whore. So more than likely I'll end up playing them for free anyway before they come out xD. Would be cool if they all started launching around Christmas, though I doubt they will. Would make nice stocking stuffers :P. | |

| I was interested in SWTOR but from whats been coming out lately...I'm not so sure. I'm sure it will be huge, it's Star Wars after all. The only ones coming up that I am interested in are FF XIV Tera Guild Wars 2 For my own personal reasons anyway :) You will be busy though with all those games, especially if you get to beta test them all! And, kinda curious....when did a $50+ item qualify for a stock stuffer?! In my family those are usually $10 and below . I think we are doing something wrong here :P |

| Well, in my house that's not uncommon, lol. My hubby makes decent money. That and I was an only child. So I'm used to big Christmases Lol. He spends well into the 1K+ range on me for Christmas every year. And that's just Christmas xD. Birthdays tend to become expensive too. And Easter, depending on whats out. But mostly Christmas an Birthdays xD.
But, he also starts buying gifts right after Christmas. Then locks them up someplace until the next year. That way if something big comes out, I still get more than just that one big thing. I usually spend around the same amount on him. It's an us thing xD.

| My husband and I don't buy for each other. We just feel like it's silly, for us, anyway. We just tend to buy stuff throughout the year at odd times so it isn't necessary come Christmas and Birthdays. |

| Yeah :). For us it's not Christmas without gifts under the tree. We buy stuff through the year, but it's always nice having a tree with gifts and stockings full of goodies :P. | |

Im more and more the same way. Its just to much of a financial stress to go out and spend a butt load of cash right beffor work slows down for the next 3 to 4 months. It ends with me hating X-mase. Not good. I do buy a few things still just not as much as what it was like when i was a kid. OMG, so many presents. Everyone had a sox over 2 feet long, and im not talking about the skinny long kind. They were costom made 8 inch round. Crazy!!! Did i mention i had no brother and no Cousin on that side of the famaly. Ya I was spoiled

| FFXIV Tera Guild Wars 2 Cataclysm - yes I said it.
These are the ones Im most interested in. Wow for the sole purpose of playing the two new races, and playing with the archaeology profession and making a GNOME PRIESTess. lol Likely I will get bored with it a month later and quit though. And the only way they could get me to buy the CE is if the minipet was a springpaw lynx.
Christmas at my grandparents house was more about watching my fatass cousin open presents while me and her brother got only a few things that were more of after-thoughts. So I stopped going. My grandma died a summer ago, and Christmas last year was alot nicer lol. I only went because my Grandpa asked me to. Everyone else can kiss my ass. xD

Ya I was spoiled My husband and I are finally reaching a point when we aren't strapped for cash but we are still in agreement to just buy presents for the kids in the family and then I bake baskets of goodies for the rest of the family. Christmas ends up costing about $300 total which is fine with us. It's not supposed to be about the stuff anyway. I asked the family and they all say they would rather get my basket of bake goods then anything else from us, so, works for me :)! |

| Yeah, the hubby does the same thing. He bakes 10 kinds of cookies. Several dozen each. Then fills containers for each person. Saves a lot of money on friends and family, lol. | |
