Kampfer

So theres this recently complete series called Kampfer (german for fighter I believe). In the tradition of girl-crazy anime writers, only girls can be Kampfer. So one day the protagonist of the story, who by the way is a guy wakes up as a kampfer. And ever since his life has been hell.

Its supposed to be about fighters red bracelets against blue bracelets... hmm... thats familiar. But four episodes of 12 in, there has only been three eps with only a little bit about fighting.

So what this story really about? The MC gets forced to attend school as a girl, his two friends, one is his partner in the fighting. She likes him but hes clueless about it, and she has a dirty mind so she keeps hearing sexual innuendo. In everything. His other friend is in love with his female-side, but hates him as a guy because she thinks hes dating his female side. xD

Its really funny, but its more about the romance than it is about the fighting...


Ookamikakushi is another series that just started... Im guessing its about death gods and werewolves, the character art is less than diserable, every one is retardedly cutsey or plain. But the first ep makes me think of Stepford Wives: Japan. lol

Sounds amusing...the Japanese sure like to put boys in those odd situations with girls or girl only that shouldn't be...its too funny.

I saw the first ep, it's pretty interesting really. I've got it waiting but I'm slowly working on the rest of the stack aka, my "inbox" of anime.

I need my anime... its sad but its kinda like a surrogate life. Since I have none, and all the anime characters have more interesting lives than me... >.> <.<;;

Anyway!

Ookamikakushi (Spirited Away by Wolves or some such), has an interesting Hirgurashi-feel to it, so Im gonna try and ignore the god-awful character designs and watch it.

Remember Kenta (I think thats his name) from Love Hina? Boy-Sennou from Kampfer is twice as stupid and clueless as he was... hes really annoying as a boy, but as a girl his stupidity is more cutesy.

Odd how that works... lol

If you watch Kampfer, just skip episode 12 and go right to the special...

My theory is that their sponsors pulled out and they just went kamikaze.
