- #1 - November 2006 {DL} ~ November 29, 2006 ~ This month, we feature the first captured footage of Realm vs. Realm® (RvR) combat from our internal Alpha testing. Watch as the Dwarfs and Greenskins go toe-to-toe in some exciting melee action!
- #2 - December 2006 {DL} ~ December 19, 2006 ~ Watch the exclusive video interview with Design Manager, Paul Barnett, as he takes time out from the EA Mythic Holiday Party to debut the Chaos Zealot.
- #3 - January 2007 {DL} ~ January 31, 2007 ~ On January 25th, we invited 40 members of the gaming press from around the world to experience WAR Realm vs. Realm® Scenario combat first-hand. What you are about to witness are the final minutes of a game of "murder ball" in the Marsh Temple scenario located in the Marshes of Madness. This is what RvR is all about!
- #4 - February 2007 {DL} ~ February 27, 2007 ~ As a companion to our Production podcast, take a look at the actual in-game footage of the Chaos Zealot animations in action. This video features an area that as a player you will likely never see: Anim-test, a special developer-only zone made specifically for the testing and perfecting of character animations.
- #5 - March 2007 {DL} ~ March 30, 2007 ~ This month, we have a short video to share with you that was created as a placeholder login screen for our pre-beta build. The reason we are so excited about this clip is that it shows, for the first time, what we'll be able to do in the game with our new lighting tool. All of the great images you have seen of the game to date have been without proper lighting. Now that the tool is done, the art team has started lighting the world and we'll be rolling out new images as early as next month. Wait until you see what a dramatic difference it makes!
- #6 - April 2007 {Link} ~ June 28, 2007 ~ As a follow-up to last month's Quest Podcast, we offer this video of the month as proof that despite his tendency for hyperbole, Paul was telling the absolute truth about how insanely cool the Public Quests are. So, if you fancy seeing a mountainside fall on top of an Orc camp or a drunken giant picking up an enormous bomb painted like a squig . . . click here!
- #7 - May 2007 {Link} ~ July 25, 2007 ~ This month we present video from around the world of Warhammer Online, including a look at Empire and Chaos RvR Scenarios, monsters and Public Quests. - #11 - The Inevitable City {Link} ~ November 30, 2007 ~ This month we wander into the dark streets of the Inevitable City, the sprawling capital city of followers of Chaos. Though still very much a work-in-progress, take a frightening journey through this urban nightmare in an exclusive first look at this tainted city.
- #12 - RvR Battle {Link} ~ January 31, 2008 ~ What's it like on the battlefields of WAR? Well, it might very well look something like this new video we have to share with you. These RvR battles were filmed for an internal presentation so you'll see lots of people standing around beating on each others (we needed them to remain relatively still to capture the footage we needed!). Those of you that have experienced real RvR before know that battles are a lot more fluid and that no one ever stays stationary for long. Enjoy!
