Dollhouse Cancelled

So sad....well not really! Havn't even begun to watch the 2nd season cause I heard it was not so good. Anyway:

Fox has cancalled Joss Whedon's "Dollhouse" but will still show all 13 episodes, it's been announced today.

I don't have a lot to say. I'm extremely proud of the people I've worked with: my star, my staff, my cast, my crew. I feel the show is getting better pretty much every week, and I think you'll agree in the coming months. I'm grateful that we got to put it on, and then come back and put it on again.

I'm off to pursue internet ventures/binge drinking. Possibly that relaxation thing I've read so much about. By the time the last episode airs, you'll know what my next project is. But for now there's a lot of work still to be done, and disappointment to bear.

They are currently shooting Episode 11 so there's just enough time left to re-write episode 13 for a series / season finale. (It was written with an out to a 3rd season so not much work to tie everything together.)

That current plan for the remaining "Dollhouse" episodes:

Dec. 4 - 8:00PM-10:00PM (Episodes 5 & 6)
Dec. 11 - 8:00PM-10:00PM (Episodes 7 & 8)
Dec. 18 - 8:00PM-10:00PM (Episodes 9 & 10)

Jan. 8 - 9:00PM-10:00PM (Episode 11)
Jan. 15 - 9:00PM-10:00PM (Episode 12)
Jan. 22 - 9:00PM-10:00PM (Episode 13 / Series Finale)

Nuuuuu! I love Eliza Dushku. :( I guess kinda what happened to Tru Calling, but that was a good show too! Well, whatever she does in the future, I'll watch it.

Still bummed about this and right when it's getting good again. I can't wait for the next airing on Jan 8th!

Havn't started the 2nd season and prolly won't. If a show I only semi-enjoy gets cancelled I drop it too make room for something else better!

2ed season to me has been better then the first. I am torn about it though. On one side I like Dollhouse but on the other...I want more Dr. Horrible which can't happen as long as Joss Whedon is busy doing Dollhouse.

Eh.... the only reason I liked Dollhouse was because of the korean girl and that other girl that was the main characters love interest/neighbour. Other than that is was kinda meh.

Yeah I liked the Korean girl...was not enough of her...that was about it!

This past weeks episode had more then one wth out of nowhere. Worth a watch if you have nothing else to do. It really explained a lot of the things going on with the Dollhouse and Echo.

Well, regardless of where she was born, she's still of the Korean Race...hehe

I love me some Asians...although I prefer the Japanese the most. You'd be surprised how many difference there are between each, yet most people I speak to or that comment about them only think its their eyes and shape of their face...heh

Oh no even regions in Japan have differences in appearance.( there are even really dark complexion Japaneses) It is that way with all races though. My latino friends say they can't tell white people apart and a white friend of mine piles Puerto Rico with Mexico and Brazil together. ( I am 1/4 Puerto Rican so he get smacked a lot)Each has its own unique culture, custom's and often physical appearance. Being that I'm a huge anthropology dork I like trying to figure out where people are from before I even look at their faces. " Sierra" real name Dichen Lachman was a tough one though. She is 1/2 Australian 1/2 Tibetan born in Kathmandu, Nepal :P( had to wiki her to be honest) Also read she may be in the Star Wars tv series...shame I may skip that series.

Interesting...guess its only going to get harder to tell race apart in a hundred years since there is so much interracial marriages and births these days! Maybe we'll finally get that Star Trek Utopia since we'll all be the same eventually and be peaceful to each other...rofl

I had an instructor in high school that thought we would look like Roswell aliens in 2000 years. He also thought that the Aztecs deserved to die, much of Roman history was complete myth ( like reaching British soil even though we pointed out the Hadrian wall..) and a few other major crack pot point ( bless the California Education system :P )
My self I am Irish,Norwegian,A good chunk Native American, Puerto Rican,German,African,and one or two races both sides of my family argue about. ( Odds are English which the Irish part of the family would rather ignore ). Needless to say I can't even tell what racial group I belong to. ( I am happy for that new questioner box " More then 1 or 2 races")

Its odd and interesting that that girls racial mix makes her look Korean, not Australian (which is essentially just "white") and Tibetan.

I was surprised to read that she is a huge star in Australia. She was a soap star and then in some Aquamerie movie. Most of the cast had some serious acting experience going into the show. A shame they really did not get a chance to show it off.
