Holy Beast Online (Release May 21 3AM)

I did a time check to see what time Holy Beast Online is going to launch, all the site says is its on May 21st for OB. So I used a time zone converter, and converted their time to our time here in Ohio, and its saying that it should be at 3am. I'm hoping, cause it looks cute xD. Here are some new videos of the races in their higher level beast forms that a fan posted. I cant decide if I want the Monkey or the Dragoon >.<

Yeah just read that...doh, but it does look cute and may be some fun! I kinda want to play something cute for a change again someday. Oh hey whatever happened to Wakfu? Thats still getting released or... Havn't checked their site or anything since we got into CB way back when.

Its still in the polishing stages. After the CB they found a shit load of issues with the game. Not to mention they made changes to the leveling system that people were rather upset about. I hope they get it up and running in the next few months though. From the taste I got, after they get everything finished it will be great. If you're interested, I'm getting back into Dofus with my first MMO family xD. So, if you wanted to get an idea of how the real game mechanics would work (though there are differences in the Wakfu mechanics) make an account and join the Rushu server on Dofus. It's kind of refreshing to play with people I havn't played with in ages xD. And I missed the pervy convos and kidding around we all did xD.

And as for Holy Beast, I think it looks pretty damn cool. I like how the main staple of the game is being able to shape shift into your inherited beast form. And that it grows as you grow. Watched some youtube's of it and it looks like it will be fun to play. To bad they pushed it back >.< I was excited to see that something decent looking would be out soon.

Doh, figures that Dofus requires a sub to actually do anything/get anywhere...blah Still will give it a few hours sometime.

Sure wish I could find some friends...close friends like I had when I was kid that would come over and we'd do things together again and that I could get to help me on the 2D MMO I wanna make. Someday we'll have to get on Vent so I can tell ya more about what I wanna make...its truly very unique and entirely different than anything out there. {Don't recall if I ever told ya much before, but I've greatly expanded on how things will work!}

One of my main goals though is to bring back the difficulty from days-of-old; while maintaining great fun and funneling players into areas that basically forces them to camp out with each other frequently while they prepare food, potions and recover from their defeats and battles...as well as trade stories of what they found. Bring back the close community and return to the root of what an MMO is and keep the community talking and working together with each other instead of tossing slander that they suck in global chat {of which this won't have....}

Sounds like fun ^^. It would be cool to play a game where you have to camp and what-not as you travel. Would make things more realistic.

P.S - I've been playing Luna Online, fun, but they are remaking it in a few months for gpotato. So expect to have me taging around with ya'll on Ether Saga in 2 days (release xD).

yup. let us know...u choose the server for Ether Saga for us...I'll prolly be focused on LOTRO for a few days after launch to get back to where I was on test. Then once I get to just farming the craft instances daily is when I'll prolly play ES the most!

Yeah, just throw up a post Tuesday for what server your on. I'll be off work, so I'll have the whole day to do whatever.

You have an idea for what class ya'll will be playing? I'm Thinking Mystic/Conjurer. I might as well play classes based around INT if thats the main stat the game is pushing for anyways >_>. I'd rather go Shaman as mentioned, but their DMG is said to be less than a Conjurer, they have no real way to heal other than HoT's, and they can't really tank anything. xD

Your best bet sill be to look at the forums. They sadly don't have any spell lists up on the main site. Makes me sad because I'm pretty much shooting blind in the dark xD.

Checked it out, what little there is and the Mystic might be fun, but I may try something melee for a change since u solo so much in a F2P. Will see!

Hm, I might be different and play a Caster for once. Seeing as how I always play a healer. Dealing Spell Damage would be fun xD.

Actually checked this game today and read that when organizing my bookmarks. Looking forward to giving this a try!

Kinda having fun with FreeRealms atm, but I dunno if it'll last me past the first month. I'll still prolly play it off/on as they add new content, its just that in the past week I've already explored the entire game world, and have several jobs at lvl 20 now and finished over 500 quests.

Am playing it currently...its ok! Trying to get lvl 3 so I can turn into a human and see what else there is too fighting! I'm playing as a dragon!

Changed too and tried out a Bird and overall got both to lvl 5 where I could select a class, but havn't yet! Thus far its standing in one general area and slaving away grinding forever on a certain lvl enemy, lvl up then move to next lvl of enemy and repeat. Its not very fun yet!

Yeah, I've played a Dragon/Warrior to level 7 so far. It's not to bad. I read somewhere that the very beginning of the game seemed slow, but after you get to like 10+ it picks up.

Oh, and when/if you get your WoW account working, would you mind making a Human alliance character for meh on the Argent Dawn RP Server? I made a Draenei Paladin, and wanted to spec him in Pole Arms, but the only trainer for it ((from what the guard said at The Exodus)) is in Stormwind. I checked the thing to make sure you can summon me, and it says both the vet and the recruit can summon each other. It sure would cut the time drastically so I don't have to find some way to walk all the way to the Human area, or beg a Mage for a Portal just to get there xD ((which I did to no avail)).

Scratch the going to stormwind thing, it was easier to get there than I thought xD.
